H.I.K.E. route

The 'H.I.K.E (Help Is Kindly Encouraged) route' is the walk taken by an individual when needing to solve a problem. Having been stumped by how to escape from the impending doom of not solving the situation themselves assistance is sought from colleagues. A walk around to office looking for willing colleagues to help talk through and solve the problem.

Round Zero

Stating the bloody obvious, i.e. is a zero, round? Of course it is! I think we have had a 'round zero' moment. Teaching grandmother to suck eggs again. To be avoided at all costs as too many round zero moments leads to reduced team spirit.

The act of giving the cold shoulder to new office arrivals. Derived from Ice Cube and Shoulder Blade. Sometimes unintentional in offices where verbal communication is kept to a minimum as common practice.
